Simul will release updates including new functionality, bug fixes and patches to the container operating systems from Microsoft.
All new versions will be detailed on our release history page.
A system administrator will be responsible for periodically checking and installing updates using the following procedure.
To check for updates, select "Update" in the Simul Enterprise management application:
Simul will then check for updates, if there are new components available, you will see a message like so:
By selecting "Install Updates", Simul Documents will be stopped and a new version downloaded and installed.
This will involve an outage for your end users. Updates may include patches to the containers operating system and the outage time can vary. We recommend only updating the platform when it can safely be offline for up to an hour.
